ASUS Prime Z270-A LED problem.

So this board as a built in RGB LED. I read about a feature and then found it in the BIOS that turns off the LEDs when the computer is shut down or sleep. I enabled it and made sure it's enabled, but it still persists on shut down and even sleep. What's interesting is that I used ASUS' AURE program to control the RGB LED so I have it set to just be on as a constant white color, but when the computer shuts down or goes to sleep, it goes through the rainbow cycle it has by default. It goes back to my configured color setting when powered back on.

Is there anything I could provide, like a log from somewhere to share with you folks to see what's causing to still be on, even though I set it in BIOS?

Hi...are you using a current BIOS? My computer had the default lighting on and I didn't like it. I don't have clear side panels but could see the lights projecting on the wall on the back of my computer (i.e. through the exhaust fan area). I went in and did the BIOS setting change referenced here and have not seen the lights projecting anymore.

Thanks for the suggestion. That's where I went to set the functions. So I set the RGB LED Lighting to On and the "In sleep, hibernate, and soft off states" to off, but it still persists when on sleep and off.
