Hi I am looking to buy an i5 7600k and 16GB ddr4 ram. My only issue is choosing a motherboard, I want a low cost solution for this but obviously still want overclocking and ddr4 support. Any suggestions? I am from the UK so US prices tend to be much lower than here to start with but any reccommendations at all would be appreciated.

Currently I see the Gigabyte H270M-DS3H Intel Kaby Lake MATX Motherboard is a decent price with the features I want (Just dont know if i can overclock with this, cant find answers anywhere else) thanks!

You need a Z170/Z270 motherboard for overclocking. The vast majority of those should be DDR4, but you can double check the mobo specs to be sure.
If you're on a budget, you should be ok getting a cheap Z-series mobo. Overclocking depends more on the CPU itself and your cooler than the mobo. Just find one that has all the slots and connectors you want.

Already own a pc I built myself but I am upgradeing, already got a 212x (Am looking to overclock for fun but not massively hence I am not using a water cooling solution) and a cooler master 500w 80+ eff psu so I grand on those. I'm just making sure I dont mess up on the moptherboard. I have heard most people only mention the z270 for overclocking, are they the only kaby lake chipsets that allow overclocking?

Yes, only Z-series chipsets (i.e. Z270) support CPU/memory overclocking. For Kaby Lake you need either a Z270, or a Z170 that has been upgraded with the right BIOS to support Kaby Lake. But a 6700K is Skylake, so you can use either.

What graphics card do you have, and what's the exact model of your PSU? Many of Cooler Master's PSU lines are pretty mediocre.

I just noticed my mistake and confused myself, the i5 im talking about is a 7600k as 6700k doesnt exist in i5 lol.
I dont have the name of the psu on me here but i compared it to the tier list when buying it and it was, as they say not the best, but was good as a budget PSU at £45 and I had a thread before where people suggested buying this one at my budget. Again all companies have medicore PSUs if you are paying £20 it is defo a no go lol.

The graphics card I am using is a Sapphire Nitro+ RX 480 4GB OC to 1306MHz (May oc further but Imma wait and see after i upgrade)
