Is this power supply compatible with my computer?

Ill try to get an image soon. I was looking online and I think that I found my current power supply http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/252801248100?lpid=122&chn=ps&adgroupid=36165537022&rlsatarget=pla-277568717470&adtype=pla&poi=&googleloc=9045963&device=c&campaignid=738474636&crdt=0

If this is my supply would I not just have to compare the dimensions between the two?

My current supply doesn't have any pcie connectors meaning I wouldn't be able to get a powerful gpu

You also need to compare the bolt patterns on the rear of the case.

As long as the new one is the same size or smaller, it will fit. If its bigger it may still fit but since we don't know what the case is, its better safe than sorry.

Can you post a photo that has all of the screws visible? It's impossible to tell compatibility with a partial photo like those.

I got some more pictures

I also found the dimensions for my psu according to this site
https://www.amazon.co.uk/CiT-500W-Micro-Power-Supply/dp/B0064A8X4A
But I got nothing on the case which worries me as my next step after the power change would be to invest in a gpu

Well your PSU and the one that you want to buy are VERY close in size >1cm
I would think that its safe to say that it will fit.
Here are some measurements so that you can check to be sure:
W = 15cm
H = 8.5 cm
D = 14 cm

See if you can fit a PSU that size in your case.

From the two bolt holes that show up in your photos, it appears to be an ATX bolt pattern. The other two screws should be just out of frame on the right, and another in the opposite corner out of frame on the left.

Note that the Amazon link is to a non-ATX power supply with a very different bolt pattern. If that's what is in the computer, an ATX power supply would not fit.

Would you be able to recommend a power supply for me? Im mainly upgrading as my current psu does not have any pcie connectors as I would be buying a gpu as well at some point in the future.

Sure. What's your budget?

Apparently an ATX power supply would not fit. Would you be able to recommend me a psu that would fit but also comes with pcie connectors so I could power a gpu in the future ??
