Cannot Connect to the Internet after installing windows 7

I have an old HP Compaq NX6110. I upgraded to Windows 7 and now cannot connect to my wireless network. I get an error 651: The modem or other connecting device has reported an error. Any help would be appreciated!

That system does not support Windows 7. If you installed the 32-bit version of Windows 7, you may be able to install the Vista-32 drivers and get it to work under Windows 7. Otherwise, you are likely going to need to find the Windows 7 Broadcom 802.11B/G driver for your wireless chip from the chip manufacturer (if it exists) and manually install it.
