Hello all,

Hope everyone has been having a nice year so far. I have a quick question about my RAM and something that has been happening off and on with my computer. Sometimes, my computer has suddenly gotten stuck on right click or something. For example, every time I click on a link in chrome, it would open in a new tab. Or, when I am trying to click on something, it highlights it instead. When I go to shutdown my computer, I get a little error message stating something along the lines of "Windows Memory Error 0000064XX00000" and it shuts down. I have a feeling that my RAM is malfunctioning, however, I ran the sfc/scannow on cmd and it did not show up with anything that was wrong or malfunctioning. Should I get new RAM? Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Cheez

MERGED QUESTION
Question from CheezPizza12345 : "Update: RAM issue"

Hello all,

This is in response to my previous thread about my memory problem on my PC. So I tried booting up my computer with one stick, and it worked booting up in both channels. I am using A2 and B2, not A1 and B1. When I tried putting in my second stick, it booted up in A2, but not B2, which was confusing. I then tried to boot up both RAM sticks in A2 and B2 and switched them up, but I was not able to boot. Now, I am only able to boot from one RAM stick in either A2 or B2. Do I have a defective stick? Any ideas?

Thanks,
Cheez
