Hello! I am debating whether or not to upgrade the old rig. Unsure what upgrade or upgrades would benefit the most (3570k or 2x GTX670's or both). Mostly used for gaming on a 144 hz Benq. I may just buy a whole new rig if it's worth it and give this one to the gf. Not too worried about price, thanks for any suggestions!

Current PC:
CPU Intel Core i7-3770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
GPU x2-SLI EVGA 04G-P4-3673-KR GeForce GTX 670 FTW+ 4GB 256-bit GDDR5
MSI Z77 MPOWER LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
G.Skill Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
OCZ Vertex 4 128GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

The 1080 is a great card and you will love it, but with the release of the ti I would personally either go for the 1070 or save a little extra and grab a 1080 ti. Mind you if you were to get a 1070 then later down the road decided to go sli then 2 1070 would be pretty much as strong as a 1080...

Yeah, the 3570k sure was a decent buy. I just looked at the gpu benchmarks today and was surprised at how much the difference is, even with two 670's. Probably go with one of these two, thinking the 1080 although the 1070 is $120 cheaper.

But like you notice with your 670 sli not all games support it.
