Hi, guys. I currently have a Radeon HD 6670 in my Dell Inspiron 518 and I was wondering if I'd be able to upgrade it to an ASUS GeForce GTS 450. PSU is 500W.

1) Is it compatible?

2) Will it fit? (2 inches or so longer than the 6670).

3) Would the slight (or perhaps not so slight) upgrade be worth it?

It's compatible. I don't know if it'll fit since I don't know how big any of these cards are or how much space you have in your case. Is it worth it? That depends on your intentions and the price. The extra performance will make a difference, IF you don't intend to run games that are too demanding for either card. Also, you'll probably want to run games in 720p for best results in either case. Finally, the limited vram will prevent you from enjoying certain games that demand more. As long as you understand that then it's worth it if the 450 is priced low enough.

It'll need a 6 pin pci-ex connector from the power supply most likely, so you need to make sure the power supply has one.
