My Computer Won't Turn On

I just bought a new power supply for my graphics card (EVGA 650w g2) and I wiried it up properly, and when I turn the power supply on the gpu power light comes on and when I press the power switch nothing happens. I've tried multiple different cables and I think it's the motherboard. Thanks :)

Have you connected the 8 pin connector which powers the CPU?

Yes, I have. I had my dad look at it a few mins ago he got it working. Thanks anyway :)
