Hard drive is suddenly empty.

Hi there. I'm new to these forums, so excuse my lack of etiquette, if any.

I've had a 500GB Western Digital hard drive for a while now, and it's given me no issues up until today. While I was playing a game, I was alt-tabbed and noticed this drive says it's completely empty now. There are a few folders on it from before that have nothing in them. The disk tells me it's still formatted to NTFS.

I downloaded CrystalDiskInfo and this drive is listed with Caution, with the following information highlighted:

C5 Current Pending Sector Count (Current: 200) (Worst: 182) (Threshold: 0)

I ran CheckDisk and it said there are no errors. I also tried writing a small document to it, which worked fine and is still there. However, I can't find it in my BIOS, even though it's still visible and accessible in my file explorer.

This troubles me, because I bought a new SSD last week but I didn't back anything up yet. I am wondering if it's the power or SATA cables that are causing my problem, and the SSD's installation interfered with them.

Any thoughts on what I should do with this?
