Hello people of the internet!
Today I bring to you a question about storage on my dekstop.
Can i use a laptop hard disk in a desktop?
I'm a little unsure if that is the right word for it. But basically I want more storage on my desktop, and I have several laptops I can take storage from at the place I am "working" at. I am allowed to take a laptop so that I can mess around with it. The desktop I have home only has 222 GB of storage, and I would like some more.
How do I do this?

In advance, thanks for any answer or suggestion!

You can use them, no problem. Desktop drives are 3.5" in size, laptop ones are 2.5" (smaller and thinner). They connect the same way. Of course, you will need a place to mount a smaller 2.5" drive within your chassis. You can use a bracket as th3p00r suggested, but there are many cases which provide places for 2.5" disks out of the box - it would be worth to first check if yours does, too.
