i recently bought and made a new computer for a family member. whilst buying the parts i made a stupid mistake in buying the wrong mobo, i had to sell it and buy another. the new mobo i bought doesnt look new... a Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3 Socket AM3 motherboard. it doesnt say anything about supplying the amd FX series, which is the CPU i have AMD FX6300... i also only have a 400w PSU. please help?

That cpu is not on the supported list for any of the revisions. So either get another motherboard or a bit older cpu like the phenom II X6 1065t for instance or the phenom II 960T.Keeping an eye on tdp here with the vrm's without cooler on it.
