Looking for ageia physx card drivers for windows 7 64bit

Ya your 470 will be faster at physx than that card so it isn't really worth it unless you need it to play a specific game.

i'm not playing this physx card on my personal computer. it's for a customer who SPECIFICALLLY asked to have a physx card in her computer. also i talked to nvidia and no it doesn't work properly on 7. it will show in the device manager yes but will no do any good in the nvidia control panel cause it was not meant for 7. i was told it works with xp. i think it may work with vista acording to the driver's specs but i'm not sure. any idea if it will work on vista ultimate 64bit???

here's the link to the driver nvidia told me to use.....

I have $650 profit riding on this so I NEED to find ANY OS to use for this. She doesn't give a rat's you-know-what which OS it has as long as she gets her goddang physx card working! I payed no more than $110 to build this rig cause i had most of the parts on hand already. This woman is paying me $650 just because she wants a physx card and a gtx graphics card and asked for a 470 EVEN though i told her for $650 i could of built her a really nice x170 windows 10 gtx 10 series rig and still made somewhat of a profit but she INSISTS on THIS!!!!! Shows what kinda customers I have are, huh? But anywho any idea about a physx card and vista ultimate 64bit? will it work??????

Ya it might work definitely unsupported since you'll need newer GPU drivers for the 470 but older physx drivers for that card.

You might just consider getting like a $50 gt420 and using that as the physX card that'll work no problem.

I found drivers for gtx 470 for vista ultimate 64bit as well as the physx card
which nvidia said BOTH work on vista ultimate 64bit. so idk what you mean it won't work on vista ultimate.

i found out it won't work on 7 tho.

also my board apperently wasn't designed natively for 7 just vista and older so i'm going with vista.

in case you need proof these cards (the physx card and the gtx 470) will work here it is...

for the gtx 470

for the phsyx card

Ya not what I said. That setup is unsupported because because the 470 requires newer drivers (which includes physX be sure not to install the PhysX ones just the GPU) but that ageia card uses those older PhysX drivers which could cause driver conflicts. You'd have to try and see but I can pretty much guarantee you will have performance issues since you won't be able top use the faster 470 for physX calcs

I suggested the 420 because not only would it be faster but it uses the same driver so you don't have to worry about the previous issues mentioned.

whell i just bout the 470 so.... and this is not for me its for a customer who SPECIFICALLY wanted THESE particular parts sooo...yeah.
plus nvidia said both were supported on vista 64 bit but not 7. I know i'd be better off with a different setup. Heck i'd say forget the whole thing, i'm getting a 10 series a core i5 and 12gb ddr4 ram and 2tb hard drive space and 725 watt psu all on a asus b150 pro/gaming aura mobo in a thermaltake rgb chassis (which btw is the specs of my personal rig is) but this particular build is not for me its a $650 profit being sold to an ignorant when it comes to computers period customer-who happens to also be my ex-girlfriend lol-who wants specific parts of which i tryed to explain to her suck eggs but she is sooooo stubborn.
