AMD APU and NVIDIA GPU

Just to clarify, based on the question 2 things:

1. That GPU will work fine with that APU with only its own Nvidia drivers installed.

2. You cannot install the drivers for the APU's graphics as well, they do not work together, it will not boost performance. I doubt it will cause a major issue but could cause a conflict, however most likely it just won't do anything since you will not have a monitor connected to the APU.

There is a scenario called Dual Graphics where the APU can work with an AMD GPU, but they are low end models and it works pretty poorly, and as I said, doesn't do anything with a Nvidia GPU.

It will work just fine. You may even be able to use both at once with separate monitors. I do with Intel Integrated GPU and my AMD 290x.

Usually the motherboard will select the PCIe GPU as the default if it detects one. You may have to manually set it as mentioned above.

The APU is uninstalled. The only thing that is installed is the GPU driver.
So i was thinking if i can boost my performance of GPU by installing the APU driver.

I have set the Bios - Graphics Adapter - PCI Express , for the GPU.

I had A4 5300 APU, later on i got hd 6870 just put it in and installed drivers for it, never had any issues, used gpu normally (didnt bothered uninstalling 'apu' drivers, its part of the amd cataylist mbo drivers anyway)

And completely inaccurate. In the case of an AMD APU and a discrete NVidia graphics card, there will be no conflicts or issues. That's like saying an onboard Intel graphics will interfere with any discrete graphics card (now that most Intel processors have integrated graphics).

No it will not work or help performance, for the reasons outlined above..

He's asking if he can install the apu drivers (meaning catalyst or crimson) along with the geforce experience drivers etc. though.
That absolutely 100% can create issues

& thats what I was referring to when I said theyll interfere with each other.
