Hey people I'm stuck trying to pick between gigabytes g1 sniper b7 and g1 sniper z170. I'm not looking to overclock. The b7 is 124$ cad and z170 is $199.99 cad. Is the z170 really worth the extra $$$
My build:
I5 6500k
Evga gtx 1080 ftw
(Motherboard)
16gb ram
750w ps

if you're not going to overclock then why not just get the non K version of the 6500? that way you can save additional money by going with a motherboard with a H or B series chip set.

i recently build a PC with an I7 7700 CPU with an asus RIG h270F gaming mobo and the mobo has a lot of great features

even if u r not gonna be overclocking, its is a breeze nowadays with preset oc profiles being available with the bios. and since u have parts thats can take full advatage of the z mobo (more precisely to use the full potential of the parts) i would ask u to buy the z170.
