My laptop doesnt want to boot up.

So basically this is what happend.
My laptop doesnt wamt to boot up.
It truns light on power button on and it turns off after few seconds.
So i want to know if my laptop HDD is dead or is it something else.
It doesnt even get to the windows loading screen.

What is the brand and model of the laptop, when did this start? Anything happen before the issue started? You can try to remove the battery and wall power , hold in the power button for about 30 seconds and try again. You can try removing the hard drive and see if it at least boots into the BIOS properly.
