My pc slows down after I added another monitor. I have been playing witcher 3 in my pc and it runs fine with high settings. Well I'm currently fixing or making my part in our thesis so a lot of work has to be done so I made it dual monitor. But after I'm done with the thesis I decided to go back to single monitor I kinda notice a frame drops and lag when playing games like witcher 3 and nba 2k16. I don't know what's the problem the games run fine before but after the dual monitor thing it slows down my gaming. Any tips or advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

My PC :
CPU : Intel core i5 650 @3.20 ghz
GPU : GTX 750 2gb Stormx oc edition
RAM : 6gb
PSU : 750watts (i don't know what brand it is)

Solution
Make sure to play the game in fullscreen mode and only on the primary display (it'll automatically do this in fullscreen mode).

When adding a 2nd monitor, was it the same resolution as before, and are you gaming on the new monitor? A higher resolution will increase the work the GPU has to do, which is not a particularly strong card in the first place.
