6700k not performing as well as it should?

Hello,
I've got the feeling that my 6700k does not perform as well as it should. I had issues with the temperatures, but I fixed it after manually entering a voltage for the CPU running at 4.5GHz, and enabling Turbo mode in the CPU Fan control (in the UEFI BIOS). According the HWMonitor, the temperatures do not exceed 65°C (CPU temps used to hit 75°C-80°C under heavy load).

About a week ago, I ran a 3DMark Demo Benchmark (Timespy 1.0), and got pretty dissapointing results. After applying a light overclock to the GPU, I got these results, which seemed dissapointing aswell. http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/18651118?

I ran another test today and got these results: http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/18817992?

I've come to the conclusion that there may be issues with my CPU. I do not care much about my GPU, since I intend to replace it within a year. But I will keep my CPU for another 4 years.

Specs:
Windows 10 64bit
i7 6700k OC @ 4,5GHz
ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming ATX
MSI GTX 970
500GB 850 EVO SSD
be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3 Tower Cooler
2TB Seagate HDD
16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3200MHz
600Watt be quiet! 10-CM Modular 80+ Gold

Is there anything to be done? Why is it that my CPU performs poorer than other CPUs, according to tests?

Thanks in Advance

Maybe it's an interpretation of the scores? 3dmark's timespy is a gpu benchmark more than a cpu benchmark. It stresses gaming and is likely limited by the gpu since the gpu is an older mid range card. For cpu results try something like passmark or geekbench.

3DMark is primarily a GPU benchmark, only score you really want to look at for testing your CPU is the CPU test. First result looks fine to me, I got pretty much the same thing (also have a 6700K at 4.5 GHz). 2nd result is worse, according to the test details the CPU wasn't going beyond 4 GHz. Did you remove your overclock prior to the 2nd run?

Your Video card is 1300 Mhz and your CPU was 4000 Mhz
2 970's at 1500 each card pull around 7100-8000

IF you want your score at 4K you need to OC your CPU and your GPU to 1500+ This is limited on heat and your card.
If you want a 5500-6200 score get a 1070

Your score is fine I have a 2500k and a 970 and I am at 3300

I redid the overclocking process in the BIOS and it applied the overclock now, did a benchmark. This is the best benchmark so far. However the CPU temperatures reached 75°C in the CPU Test, and the clock speed is constant at 4500MHz. Is that something I should be concerned about?
Here's the test I just did: http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/18822457?
Is everything alright then?

Thanks for the replies btw!
