Hi, I would highly recommend the ASUS GTX 1050 Ti its price on Amazon is $ 140

https://www.amazon.com/Geforce-Phoenix-Graphics-PH-GTX1050TI-4G-Graphic/dp/B01M360WG6/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1490374104&sr=8-3&keywords=Asus+GTX+1050+Ti

I have one of these cards and to give you some idea of how it performs, GTA V at 1920x1080 with Very High Quality Graphics i get an average frame rate, and i do mean average, of between 57 and 65 FPS

yes a GTX 1060 will give a totally solid, never going below 60 FPS in GTA V, which is better, but with the money you save you might be able to...

That CPU was $177 at time of purchase. I think... And now I see the budget is similar in price. I could pick the 1060. That card's performance is similar to the 480. The 6GB 1060 is outside of your budget. The 3GB 1060 doesn't have enough VRAM imo. For now it does. It's longevity isn't so great. A compromise which comes in under budget is https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814137082 . At the end of the day that card is only $150. It does however have a blower style cooling solution which normally runs a bit hotter than the dual or triple fan cooling solutions. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202270&cm_re=480_4GB-_-14-202-270-_-Product is another option.

If you go with Jet.com make sure you use the triple15 coupon code. $27.85 less with that code. However that card is cheaper at Newegg.

Why? The link I offered gives the OP a 1060 for $9 more. The value there is so much better and the performance is as well. The $9 will be better spent on the better GFX card. Memory will cost significantly more and at 8GB it isn't critical and won't return an FPS increase like the 1060 will. https://www.msi.com/page/afterburner can tell you if you NEED more RAM. Click the gear(settings) and click on the Monitoring tab. Click on RAM Usage and start one of your most resource hungry games(aka the one with the highest resource/system requirements). I have CPU and GPU loads and temps, VRAM, RAM usage and the core and memory clocks showing in this screenshot

I have 8GB. If I saw that I was using 7 or more GB of RAM then a RAM upgrade would be a good idea. 8GB usage? Critical. I haven't exceeded 5.7GB usage yet so I'm not going to invest in an upgrade just yet. It won't have a return.
