Hello Friends,
Please clear my doubt on CPU. Is there visible differences between two nearest processor series (D-core and Core 2 Duo,i3 and i5, i5 and i7).
Does it suitable a motherboard for i3,i5,i7 processors?

Solution
There are different generations of i- series processors, and every other generation they change the socket. They also change the requirements for the motherboard every other generation, so it would be impossible design a motherboard for all of the i- series processors.

UPDATE: Just looking at the computer, there is no direct way to identify anything inside.

That said, the computer normally shows what processor it has in the system settings.
For the first question, there are visible differences between different generations of processors. Within a generation (i3 vs i5 vs i7), the processor usually has a model number, serial number, and date code silk screened onto the top of the processor. If that counts as a visible difference, then there is. However, the physical appearance and shape is the same throughout a processor line.

Regarding the second question, I have no idea what you're trying to ask.

Thank you for your response. The Visibility I meant working of the computer. Not by looking the physical components or configuration. Second question was that can a motherboard suitable for all i- series processors ?
