basically i've noticed that when im at idle load & my temp is gets to about 25c i hear a high pitch sound coming from the pc, after investigating i found the source to be the new 1080TI FE gpu that was making the sound. Now at full load there is no high pitch sound even after exiting the game a hour later no sound but if the gpu goes below temps of i think 27c it comes back again & the only 2 ways to get rid of is either use MSI AB for custom fan profile or do benchmarking for 5 mins to bring the temps high enough that it takes 1 hour to get back down to 27c.
If there is no fix for this is there any way to set a custom fan profile permanently without having to have Afterburn running in the background.
really disappointed with nvidia not considering testing for people in cold countries, that fan profile they have set is stupid & pointless because you cant hear the fan at 50% speed so what were they thinking of setting the speed so slow below 27c.
surfing online & my concentration gets interrupted by that annoying whining high pitch sound pls help
