Upgrading Pentium 4 540 to Dual Core E5800!

Hello everybody i have problem i want to upgrade my CPU
Now i have Intel Pentium 4 540 3.2Ghz 1MB Cache!
On my motherboard say 8trs400m but cpu-z say grs400m!
Socket is Lga775, so i want to know can i put this procesor on this motherboard?
i have 2gb ram ddr2
and nvidia geforce 6200se turbocache.
Power supply is 300W.

I say try it and see if it works. I can't find the information on which CPU's are supported. If you're only paying like 5 or 6 dollars to get the CPU then it's not that big of a deal if it doesn't work anyway.

I'd trust what it says on your motherboard rather than that program. From recent experience, working in a computer store I used CPU-Z to obtain the default ram inside of the AIO. Relating to the Box saying it was 8GB and the program saying it was 4GB.

I wouldn't trust that program for my liking. Go with what it says on your motherboard since if that was wrong on there, than they would have millions of recalls.
