I am currently running an i7 3770k @ 4.3ghz. 2 780 ti in sli(+130 on the clocks, +195 when using single card). 1440p @ 144hz. 16gb ram.
I plan on getting a 1080 ti icx ftw3.
My question is should I sli the 1080 ti or should I invest in an i7 7770k w/ the ram and mother board.
Or should I just get the 1080 ti single, and leave the sli and cpu upgrade alone altogether for now?
Will the 1080 ti bottleneck my cpu or will my 3770 hold on another year?
Will 1080 ti in sli be overkill for 1440p @ 144hz. I do enjoy triple digit frame rates.
I do plan on overclocking any new hardware as well.
