you need to make sure your power supply have the 6 pin connectors needed to power the video card
if it have it then you are ready to go get and enjoy, if not then you need to change power supply

if you have a HD5850 then a GTX960 will be compatible with your motherboard,
you bigger issue with the GTX960 is will your power supply be able to handle its consumption
