New cpu no display

Recently upgraded from an i5-6600k to an i7-7700k on my MSI Z170 M5. Installed the CPU and no post have tried upgrading my bios but there isn't anything available since october of last year, tried resetting bios, tried reseating the CPU three times, Reseating all components, thought it might be too much paste tried a lower amount no go. Put my old CPU back in seems to be working fine.

Get the file if the link I posted is your mobo. Extract it then read the manual on how you update the BIOS

You either update it in the bios or windows. The manuall wil tell you

Dont try and open / run the bios update with anything else

I can't seem to find a recent bios update for the kaby lake.

Also I notice a tiny amount of paste got on the bottom of the CPU with the golden pins, must have been while adjusting the heat sink would this destroy it?
