For gaming, a good rule of thumb is that you should expect to pay about the same for the CPU as you do the GPU.

That said, if you intend to play at 1080p, then it's a reasonable build. It will have a bit more CPU power than GPU power, but that's fine at that resolution.

I will recommend you switch PSUs, though. The NEX series has some significant issues, and you can get a much better PSU at that price, such as the Earthwatts Green, or a BQ series.

Honestly it's not. I've had no issues. I have 3x 2TB Blacks.
 


Must just be that my room is quiet. I have a 2TB Black as well, and it's the loudest thing in the room.
