Hello everyone, I'm upgrading to an Intel 600p 512GB and backing up to above mentioned HDD.

I initialized them both (GPT), but the Seagate isn't showing up.

I currently have 2x1TB WD HDDs installed already

My system specs are listed in my signature.

Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Ok, I figured it out. Seagate drives need you to use their software, found on their website, to create the initial partition.

My western digital drives were much more straight forward. Sorry!

Hope this might help someone with the same problem!

No, the drive didn't show up at all in Disk Management. It's there now of course, and fully functional.
