I just purchased this computer: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Refurbished-HP-6300-SFF-Desktop-PC-with-Intel-Pentium-G870-Processor-4GB-Memory-250GB-Hard-Drive-and-Windows-7-Professional-Monitor-Not-Included/49333344?u1=1402X558040X68feea3415e917a3c743626bd01e3be7&oid=183959.1&wmlspartner=TnL5HPStwNw&sourceid=24917150062668011477&affillinktype=10&veh=aff

As you can tell I am a thrifty spender! I am a light gamer meaning I really only play League and one other game. As well as one Facebook app. I would like to customize this computer to be able to run League as smoothly as possible.

I am looking for suggestions on two things;

1. Advice on a GPU as I don't think it comes with one. One compatible and small enough to fit. Also somewhat decent..
2. Power supply. If possible. Which I don't think it is for this computer. I would like to change the power supply.

1.2 - if the power supply can be changed ... A better processor compatible with the motherboard as well as suggestions on a new graphics card.

I will be and have been doing tons of research and so far I have found nothing. Any help appreciated.

According to http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=c03387773 it has

Bus type
PCI Express x16
Generation 2.0

so you could install a better GPU but would have to be low profile one also would probably need to be a card that doesn't need added power because of PSU.
Computers like that (Brand name, ready made) may prove in the end to be more expensive than some basic, home made with off the shelf parts by the time you get it to perform on any usable level.
According to same site, it has only 240W PSU so any GPU added may have hard time getting enough power and PSUs are proprietary and to upgrade it from HP would cost an arm and a leg. By the tome you change everything necessary it may be an expensive paper weight.

As of now. It wouldn't be able to run anything right? I'm not sure if it even has integrated graphics card. It came in today. I am going to see if I can pull my old graphics card. Which was low profile and install it.

May end up seeking a refund if I can't even get it to run FB apps.

Fired it up.. it does have an integrated graphics card. It's running very smooth on almost everything I wanted it to do. I am downloading a game that I play daily to see if it can run that. I am hopeful that it will.

So far so good!!
