So i recently received a SSD and Windows 10. I currently have a HDD with Windows 7 on it. I would like to wipe the HDD clean and install windows 10 on the SSD. Is there any specific route i should take. Or is it just simply reformatting the HDD and installing Windows 10 on the SSD?

Thanks!

The most sensible approach you can take is...
1. First, disconnect the HDD containing the Win 7 OS from the system.
2. Fresh-install the Win 10 onto your SSD with the SSD being the ONLY drive connected at the time.
3. Following the Win 10 install, work with the SSD for a while to determine it boots & functions without ANY problems.
4. ONLY THEN should you reconnect the HDD to the system and boot the system to determine it's still booting to the Win 10 OS on your SSD.
5. Then you can do whatever you want to the HDD.
