Hello
Im looking for a new motherboard that can do dual graphics card. So I came to find the ASUS B150 PRO. It has a decent price and seems like a decent motherboard. But i am seeing a lot of reviews giving it 1 star and saying "it will not post" I have no idea what this means. So I am posting this to see what you guys opinions are on it, or if you own it how does it perform? Here is a link to it

Thank You

I don't own it but I do trust ASUS for my boards. I don't trust online reviews on Newegg and Amazon, people tend to like to complain but don't say when its fine or works well. And many people are idiots.

"It will not post" means a computer built with the board will not boot up.

Now as for supporting "dual graphics cards" that board only supports AMD Crossfire, so you need 2 AMD cards. Also that board only supports a 16x/4x combination, basically the GPU in the second slot runs at 4x. This decreases overall graphical performance. As it is Crossfire really isn't that great, using it in that setup is a real waste of money.

What cards were you planning to buy? Most likely you're better off just buying 1 better card.
POST = Power-On Self-Test. If a board won't post, it means it won't start up properly.

User reviews can be unreliable, but that sure is a lot of negative ones. There might be some reliability issue with it, otherwise it looks like a decent board.

I currently have a GTX 760 and im planning on upgrading to a 1060 because the 760 is really outdated and only have 1.5 vram. So I was planning on putting both of them into a PC. Thanks for letting me know that it only supports AMD lol. Do you have any suggestions for a dual board that supports GTX 760 and 1060??

Oh man lol, did not know that. Well do you have any suggestions for just a board to run the 1060? because I already ordered it. Just searching for the perfect motherboard.

The board you selected is great for a single GPU system, IMO I think it will be fine.

Well it only supports Crossfire if you want to use 2 GPUs, and Crossfire is AMD only. Since you have Nvidia GPUs you can't use that, but your GPUs won't work together anyway, so you're just using one, GTX 1060 which would work fine on that board.
