Cant install graphics card driver

Hi guys,
I have dell 3020 desktop with i5 4570 3.2 ghz with dedicated 5500 hd graphics.recently i install gforce gt 610 2 gb and when i install drivers, at certain point drivers cant install and windows popup saying 'computer has encountered critical problem and will shutdown and it restarts again. Tried to reinstall everything but still didnt work. Cant even update the drivers also. Check with system run and dxdiag. In there at curent display mode it says 1600x900 (32 bit) although i have 64 bit. Please help.

What connector (GPU or motherboard) is the monitor plugged into? 32bit is the color depth not the OS version.

You may have to go into the BIOS and disable on the onboard graphics to get the GPU drivers to install. You also probably have to uninstall the intel display drivers.

Intel graphics drivers is unstalled, on board graphics is selected to nvidia graphics and antivirus is disabled (in case if needed) but still cannot install full drivers. I use vga cable for connetion to display

What version of Windows? Are you trying to download the latest nVidia drivers (from nVidia directly) or using a disk that came with the GPU?

And is the VGA cable plugged into the GPU or into the VGA port on the motherboard?

i am using windows 7 pro 64 bit with sp1.m tryin to intall from the disk that came with product. Even downloaded directly frm nvidia.
Vga cable is plugged into GPU.
Nothing has changed.

I tried installing that drivers too but still didnt work. Cant upload the pic or I dont know how to do it. Please help again

Without screenshots or the exact language it will be hard to provide further assistance. To post a screenshot to Tom's forums, you'll have to upload the screenshot to a public server (many people use imgur or the like popular photo sharing sites so that people aren't hesitent to click on unknown links) and the put the URL in your comment.

If you right click on your desktop and then select "Screen Resolution" and then select "Advanced Settings" what does it say about your graphics adapter?

I tried to do clean installation by using DDU software but stil same problem arises.
