Hello guys,

My pc specs are :
Gtx 750 ti oc 2gb
i3-3220 @ 3.30 ghz
8gb ddr3 memory
H61m-vg4 motherboard
And if im not mistaken my power supply is a normal 500watts.

I was considering upgrading my cpu and power supply , and i would like to know how much of a performance upgrade it would be if i upgraded to an i5 or something .

Thx for the help.

Solution
If you can find an i5 that works with that board, go for it. It will improve performance noticeably. They aren't made anymore, though.

If not, you'd have to upgrade the motherboard as well.

How can i find what's my specific power supply?
And btw my monitor is connected by vga cable to the card , should i be using the dvi port with and adaptor ? or being connected tru the vga port is fine?

Thx alot

On old-school monitors, the adapter would help a bit with positioning adjustments. On newer LCD screens, there's little difference.

You can find the make and model of the PSU written on the side of the unit. You'll have to open the side of the case to see it. If it's an ATX layout, and most are, you take off the left (when looking at the front) panel to access it.

TM-500-PSAP 13 is my power supply.
I just think my cpu is bottlenecking my pc, cause i recently upgraded from a shitty gpu to the 750 ti and i dont see that noticeable difference in fps.
I play games like overwatch and csgo, recently bought PUBG and cant run the game very well tbh..

But PUBG is normal that i cant run it very well cause its still and early acess game and improvements are being worked on. But the other games like cs go and overwatch the performance boost was there but not as much as i would think would be when i upgraded from my shitty gpu.
