Just brought most of the parts last night , just curious what sort of scale this is on? I assumed it was high end.

it's a very good system but as far as high end goes, it's a no.
I would give it an "8" out of 10 as high end if that's how you see it.

you would have to go around 7 or 8 because if you were to say 10/10 you would have no room for movement if there was a similar system with a i7 7700k or higher or perhaps even a 1080 ti . so i agree with your logic.

the op doesn't state which model it is. i was under the impression that the supernova is usually g1 g2 etc. not just a supernova. could be a knock off for all i know! i'll be happy to be corrected though!

What he meant was that there are more versions of the "supernova", the G1 isn't that great quality,the G2 on the other hand is very nice.
I understand his concern,but since not mentioned was i trying to be positive and hoped that you bought the G2 since seeming to look at quality of components.

Its a nice budget PSU , it will be fine to power all the hardware and i only have 2 harddrives and i dont go over the top with overclocks so its perfect for my use. I was looking into corsairs i sersis psu's but i will have to wait till my funds have replenished they took quite a hit already lol
