I was thinking of upgrading to a 1070 or even a 1080. I currently have an asus strix card and it works great. If i was to buy a 1080 or 70, which creator should i buy it from?
Ive done some research but i cant seem to come to a conclusion so.

Whats the best 1070 for the price?

I understand that i might not even need an upgrade but im curious to see which ones are the best if i was to make that investment. Also, is my CPU sufficient enough or does that need an upgrade before i invest in the 1080.

Money is not much of an issue.

Solution
Your CPU is highly unlikely to hinder the performance of a GTX 1070 or a GTX 1080, only possibly in worst-case scenarios (depending on CPU-demanding games). So, investing in any of these GPUs is worthwhile especially if you are looking at gaming on 1440p resolution (or 1080p/144hz).

Solution

Sure, but just because a Pentium G4560 is a Kaby Lake doesn't make it suitable for pairing with a Titan X.
The minimum that I'd recommend for a 1080 would be an i5-6600K.

4 cores with Skylake IPC shows It's still great in most games. Besides, do you think CPU will matter as much if he plays at 1440p@60Hz for example? For 60 FPS an i5-6500 is still adequate for 99% of the games on the market. So before telling him to upgrade, you should've asked for more details aswell.

G4560 gap with Titan X is much bigger than an i5-6500 with a GTX 1080. Don't need to upgrade the i5-6500 yet.

Pentium is way less powerful than an i5. A "Skylake i5" can pair with a GTX 1070 or GTX 1080 without hindering the GPU's maximum possible performance (it will only be in certain worst-case scenarios on a limited number of CPU-demanding games that it might, but still can be resolved by tweaking some in-game settings).

Even an i5-4690 (Haswell) can pair with the GTX 1070 (and, to a certain extent, a GTX 1080).
