2.5 ghz processor

i have a toshiba laptop and cant play a game. it requires a 2.5 ghz processor and mine is a 2.3. can i update this somehow?

You are going to need to do some research.
Google the laptop, and find out if there were other models of the same laptop sold at the same time which had a faster processor. The faster processor will work in your laptop.
Find out if said processor is available e.g. on ebay.
Watch a youtube video of someone replacing a processor in a laptop like yours... If you feel you can do it, then go ahead.

BTW, a speed increase from 2.3GHz to 2.5Ghz is not really worth having - you would hardly notice.
However, a processor with more cores, or more cache memory would make a big diference.

Without knowing more about this laptop, all we can say is "maybe".
But...that 'maybe' leans towards 99.5% No.
