7700k Delid after a previous delid

Let's say i delidded my CPU and applied a liquid metal TIM, could I Delid it again without any issues?

I'm planning to not reseal the IHS and just use the motherboard to keep it in place.

Yes you can, I did this on my 4770k I used AS5 on the die until my liquid metal ultra I ordered turned up, then just took the lid off, cleaned up and replaced with the Metal Ultra, as you say, just use the retention bracket on the socket to hold the lid in place, only re-sealed it when I sold it.
