So im going to buy a Cooler master hyper 212 led (the one i have available) and i wanted some tips on installation, i've these to videos:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XLlrqzwxJig&t=261s

and

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zzAH_wR5OwI&t=2s

In the first one the dude on the video had to install some kind of metal bracket in the back of the mobo, while the second dude didnt have to, now i take a look at the back of MY mobo (GA 970a ud3p rev 2.0) and i see that there's some kind of metal plate on the place where the bracked should be, and it seems soldered to it:

And my mobo seems like it already has the screws on the front of it:

Do i really have to install that metal bracket like in the first video? (i dont want to un screw my mobo) is it even possible considering the metal plate? or should i just follow the second video's instructions?

Thanks in advance

Those videos are for an Intel installation. You have an AMD board. This video is what you will want to follow: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vO4yokgcOY4
Or just follow the printed instructions that came with the cooler.

Now, about the retention bracket that is on your board now...
No, the bracket on the back of the board is not soldered on. It is screwed on.
I'm afraid you will have to remove the motherboard from the case to remove it because the top set of the AMD retention bracket screws are hidden by the case's design. And that retention bracket has to come off to use that cooler.

The only other option is to return the cooler and get one that uses the existing AMD retention bracket itself for mounting.
