I have just built a new computer and when I tried to plug it in to a monitor with an HDMI cable, but when I turned the monitor on, there was a blue screen saying "no cable connected". I tried using both the motherboard HDMI port and the graphics card HDMI port. The result is exactly the same for both. What i know is that the cable is not faulty. It was working before and still works for my other build. Also, the monitor is not faulty because it is brand new and as I said, worked before. I can't download any drivers or other media on the computer as it claims the hardware needs to be updated (I reused the hard drive), and my cursor wont show up to click "restore". My motherboard is an H110M-HDS, my gpu is a gigabyte gtx1050, and my monitor is a BenQ GL2460HM Black 24". I have no cd reader and usbs do not show up. This is basically everthing I know that might effect my monitor. Help!
