This phone is being pretty troublesome for me. I'm trying to move my dad back to his now-unlocked phone, the LG G4. But the Samsung doesn't want him to go.
The following paragraph isn't important, just an example of this- The contacts that he has been saving to "Device" instead of Google (He didn't realize). Unlike the LG, the Samsung has no option to move them to the Google Account and I instead had to export them to Drive and import them onto the LG, which looks a bit messy once it's done.
Anyway, the issue here is the Text Messages. It not only has no option to send them anywhere, it doesn't even have an option to export them! All of the apps I have tried require changing the default Messaging app, which he does not want to do as he prefers the LG Messaging app.
Any ideas?
