I recently replaced my msi z170 m7 with an asrock z270 taichi since the old msi board died. I'm still running a skylake (6700k) cpu and every other component on my build is still same. Ever since the motherboard swap, during idle, the RPM on my cpu fan increased from an average of 750 RPM to an average of 1450 RPM. The fan is really loud now and I was wondering how I could fix this.

My heatsink is a Cololer master 212 evo and its plugged in CPU_FAN1 on the new board (asrock z270 taichi)
