I have 3 profiles on my computer 1 mine,1 daughters and a back up (saved pics etc) but computer keeps coming up login failure then kicks me back off to log in screen. I put computer into safe mode and did the same on two profiles but let me into back up profile (didn't try to access before) thought might be a virus so did a scan nothing changed, deleted two failed profiles and created another only to find carried on doing the same?

First, having a profile for a backup on the same hard drive as the other profiles is not a "backup".
On the working profile you can try to run ccleaner to see if there are registry issues, but it may not work. Could be a hard drive issue also, run a scan on the drive using the drive check utility from the hard drive vendor.
