Which build should I use? Amd vs intel?

I am currently building an $1800 or so gaming pc. I currently am choosing between 2 builds:

AMD:
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/xTkxPs

Intel:
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/XqJ7gL

They are almost exactly the same price. Obviously there is a processor and mobo difference, but the coolers are also different. One is a cheaper and bigger, and the other is smaller but more expensive. I don't see a reason to use the smaller one, but if the small one is better, let me know.

Solution
In terms of performance? If you're only going to game and do every day stuff (no rendering or video editing) then the Intel build is going to out perform the AMD build.

*edit
In terms of cooling, when I could find reviews that put the two coolers head to head, the Corsair edged out the Deepcool by a few degrees. The Deepcool edged out the Corsair on noise however.

But honestly I'd recommend the NZXT Kraken X61 over either one. It's between the cost of the Corsair and the Deepcool but it beats both (at least in most tests I've seen). The new version of it, the X62 is a bit better but it's near $150 so probably not worth it.

In my opinion, it's gonna have to be the i7. For gaming it is better. For video editing and everyday thins it is better. AMD has more cores, yes, but that won't do you much good if I'm honest seeing as they're running at 3.4GHz. AMD for budget, Intel for performance. Seeing as they're the same price, you should go for the Intel. Easy.

Hope this helps! :)
