I dont want to pay over $1000 and if you are going to suggest a new list make sure the motherboard is atx because I have chosen the case I want and am pretty set on it, it is atx only

This CPU is worse but only by 10%. This build will still perform better because of the 1070. I left 1x8 because you can still have 3 extra RAM slots.

The S340 Elite will actually support Micro ATX, so you can shave a few dollars off your build by using a smaller motherboard. The great thing about Micro ATX and Mini ITX boards is that they will fit any case that supports full size ATX boards.
