Hey all,

Quick question. Can I boot up a new system and get windows up and running and make sure everything is ok without a graphics card installed? If not, would this work and get me up and running with a cheapo $35 card? My mobo is the Asus Z270E.

This is my first build and I'm getting close to having all the parts and I'd like to start it up and make sure it's all ok before making the further purchase of my GPU. I'm looking to get the 1080ti and to be honest could use another 2 months to save up for it anyway. But I'd love to tackle the start up and make sure there are no problems before going any deeper.

Is this possible? If I can start up with a cheap card will I have any issues when upgrading to the 1080ti?

Thank you all!

If all it is doing is streaming, im sure that PC will be plenty. With a 1080ti youll be able to game at ultra and stream at 1080p im sure.

Awesome! Yeah, I wont be looking to game on it at all till I have the GPU. It's 4k 60 or bust. Lol. But it would be great to get windows up and running and have everything in check so when the GPU arrives I can be off to the races!

Is the cpu's integrated graphics robust enough for doing something like streaming my PS4 and web cam to Twitch? I'm new to all this I honestly don't know if streaming is cpu or gpu intensive.
