Problem

New build here and it was running great the past 2 days. Was in the middle of playing a game today and the game froze. So I restarted the pc. When windows loaded up the pc froze again, only allowing for a hard reset again. Next restart the system freezes at the bios screen. I know I have problems at this point.

Power down the pc and start taking out the memory and trying the different sticks and slots. Still freezes every restart at some point in the process.
Just leave the one stick of ram in at one point and now it's just a blank screen when I power on.

Removed the graphics card to take that out of the equation. Either stick of ram and still a blank screen on startup.

The motherboard is getting power and lights up also fans come on ect. My keyboard does not light up however.Tried another psu and still a blank screen but motherboard leds come on the same. Reset cmos several times also

Been messing with it all day and noticed only one case fan is coming on... one time the second case fan came on after a long delay and after and even longer wait I get a screen coming up that asks me if I want to keep default configurations but it froze at that sceen wouldn't allow me to press f1 or f2

My guess at this point is motherboard or ram but don't have access to any other systems to interchange these parts...

Any ideas?

Edit: cpu is i7 7700k

Solution
Memory Types for i7-7700 Processor are DDR4-2133/2400MHz. An i7-7700K Processor with an unlocked multiplier for overclocking would be able to use 3000MHz RAM.

Some plug n play memory may not downclock to slower speeds.
