Solution
Get the same list I posted above, but get this, fantastic value atm, $129.99 after rebate: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814126124&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-PCPartPicker,%20LLC-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

If you don't mind spending a bit more you can get a good SSD.

for $5 extra it's definitely worth the cost. i mean if a person was to get 1 stick of ram that failed over time.. at least the person would be able to run their pc with the other stick rather than having to wait for one to be delivered or having enough money to replace . it just makes more sense .

You can get a 2x4 ram, but if you're planning on upgrading in the future I would just go with a single 8gb stick. If you aren't planning on upgrading for a while, then the 2x4 is fine.
