First time building, not getting a POST or any display when I try to turn it on...

Red LED light for DRAM is on and people are saying that's an issue, but I've tried a lot of the found and suggested fixes, I'm out of options and ideas!! First time builder panicking.
Edit: Oh! Something I forgot to note, though I'm not sure how important it is: There's 4 LED's that my friend helped me identify as 'diagnostic LED's, CPU_LED, DRAM_LED, VGA_LED, and BOOT_DEVICE_LED.
When I turn it on, the CPU_LED is on for just a second before the DRAM_LED light turns on.
