Hello everyone. Today i'm here to have some help about the Fast-Sync setting and stuff like that. So i actually activated Fast-Sync because of the temps. I have a GTX 970 Zotac and in 1 year and some months I already had to bring it back to Nvidia support because a vent was broken. After 2 months of waiting the 970 came back and quickly i tried everything to not make it break again. After long research on the web finally i found this V-sync setting and despite people said it was terrible for the input lag of the mouse (actually i have a wireless mouse so i don't know if input lag affects it) i activated it. Then i found Fast-Sync, the best setting of this kind for me. Until yesterday i loved Fast-Sync because i had -10, -15 degrees than normal mode in games like overwatch , battlefield 1 ect... and the graphich card cooled (?) very fast (from 60 degrees to 35 in 30 sec). For example in overwatch when i stressed the graphic card and played a lot i reached 45-50 degrees maximum and i didn't even feel input lag in the mouse. But yesterday night and this morning it's completely different. It's like if Fast-Sync doesn't work anymore. I activate it from nvidia inspector tho, every time i open the PC that program opens too and i always set max fps to 70 to not make the graphic card temp up; Triple buffering on; Vertical Sync Smooth AFR Behavior on;Vertical Sync Tear Control on; Vertical Sync 0x18888888 (ton of 8: Fast-Sync). Yesterday i read that little written "Upgrade to 1.9.7.8 version" and i upgraded it (I hope that's not the problem). As I was saying since yersterday i have degrees back to normal mode even with Fast-Sync; For example in the desktop right now while writing to you i have 50 degrees ( i had 35 one time). And you can imagine how it is in game. I'm scared that now with this higher temp my nvidia card breaks again. Maybe i was just lucky, because i already felt those temp as very strange (45-50 in game after long time in average) , or maybe something happened to the 970. I already tried to download the Nvidia inspector in the versione i had but it didn't work, still doens't work to go down from 50 degrees. I hope you understand the situation for my bad english and hope you can help me :)
Bye
