I recently upgraded from a modem with 20/10mbps to a n600 modem, connected to a netgear nighthawk 1900 with 300/100mbps speed. I've been recently having problems of it disconnecting on my desktop which is connected with a cat6 cable. This disconnecting doesn't happen with the 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz wifi. As i'm typing this it has disconnected again from my discord server. I like to game after work and at night is the best time i'm able to do that, but recently i;ll disconnect for a minute or two before coming back.
I've always had a modem with 4 lan ports supplied by Time warner Cable, but recently I bought my own gear. I really need help with this because it's happening from 10pm-4am, times I usually play games.
