Hi I have A dell studio xps 8100 and a couple days ago my ethernet would not detect the internet. So I went and plugged it into another system my ethernet worked fine. But when I plug it into My Pc It does not light up. I Later found out that my computers driver for the ethernet is gone. I go to the website to go and solve my problem. I install the software but it seems like Everything I do does literally nothing. I have installed all the drivers from the dell website. Nothing . I trouble shoot and it tells me that I do not have a network adapter, And i can verify this because when i unplug my netgear(which by the way sucks) the network tab in device manager disappears. So I then Later go and show hidden devices. The network tab appears again without the adapter. I check on everything and it is all enabled, I check if they need updates. They Don't. I have A windows 7 64 bit
