Hey so i found out my cpu is not supported before ive updated my bios on my motherboard which i cant do because i dont have any supported cpu's

My question is if i buy an intel g3900 cpu will it be supported and will i be able to update the bios and use my i7 7700k with my motherboard?

Build:
MSI Z170A Gaming Pro carbon
i7 7700k
corsair ram vengeance 3200mhz (CMK16GX4M2B3200C16r)
The gpu is not plugged in currently (XFX radeon hd 7950)
Samsung ssd 850 1tb
powersupply 700w

You can simply go to the store you bought the motherboard and have them update the bios, if they ask for additional payment then you pay for it, it would be the easiest way than to purchase a cheap skylake.
